Job description

The Mechanical Assembly Fitter will work 37 hours per week, from 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4pm on Friday (flexi-time is available).

Overtime is paid at time and a half from Monday to Saturday and double time on Sunday after 37 hours worked.

Job Duties:

1. Assembly of hydraulic/mechanical test equipment.
2. Mechanical assembly of submersible products, including structural components, pumps, motors, valves, manifolds, manipulators, and external equipment.
3. Perform pressure, electrical, and optical testing of cables, connectors, and PCBs.
4. Conduct various tests such as hydrostatic, static/dynamic weight, buoyancy, and electrical testing of PCBs during hydrostatic pressure tests.
5. Complete all testing documentation accurately and efficiently.
6. Maintain all QHSE documentation, including risk assessments and NCRs.
7. Carry out maintenance on test equipment as assigned.
