Job summary

Vincent Gurney Ltd in Epsom is seeking a Mechanical Estimator to join its established team. You will prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical building services, review drawings and supplier quotations, and produce enquiries for equipment and subcontract packages.

The role involves liaising with clients and consultants, attending tender meetings, identifying value engineering opportunities, and supporting site surveys and tender presentations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience as a Mechanical Estimator.
• Previous experience working for a Mechanical or M&E subcontractor.
• Strong understanding of mechanical building services.
• Experience estimating commercial projects.
• Able to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tender deadlines.

The Role:

• Reporting to the Senior Estimator.


• Preparing detailed cost estimates for mechanical building services projects.
