Sizewell C Company is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Industrial Placement to kick start a rewarding career on one of the UK’s most significant sustainable energy projects. Based in our Bristol office, you’ll learn directly from experienced engineers while contributing to real-world outcomes on a major infrastructure project.

You’ll study towards a Mechanical Engineering degree and gain exposure to a wide range of activities, from design support to technical reviews.

Aufgaben

• Supporting mechanical engineers with the development, review and delivery of engineering solutions.
• Building your understanding of mechanical systems, equipment and components used within a major infrastructure project.
• Reviewing technical information, drawings, calculations and specifications.
• Supporting engineering assurance and helping ensure work meets appropriate quality and safety requirements.
• Working with colleagues across engineering, construction, project management, supply chain and other technical disciplines.
• Supporting the resolution of technical queries and engineering challenges.
• Attending technical meetings and contributing ideas as part of a multidisciplinary team.
