Sizewell C is offering a Mechanical Engineering Industrial Placement in Bristol for a 12‑month period. You will work with the CI-BOP team, gaining hands‑on experience under mentors on a major sustainable energy project.

You'll learn how engineering decisions are made, develop technical and commercial understanding, and contribute to real world challenges that impact the nuclear infrastructure programme.

Qualifications

• Studying toward a degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
• Interest in applying engineering principles to real‑world challenges.
• Strong problem solving, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist engineers with development, review and delivery of solutions.
• Learn mechanical systems, equipment and components on a major infrastructure project.
• Review drawings, calculations and specifications for quality and safety.
• Attend technical meetings and contribute ideas as part of a multidisciplinary team.
