Job summary

Sizewell C is recruiting a Mechanical Engineering Industrial Placement for a 12-month programme based in London. You will gain hands-on experience on real-world challenges alongside experienced engineers, learning how decisions are made on a major infrastructure project.

You’ll study toward a Mechanical Engineering degree, develop problem‑solving and collaboration skills, and contribute to engineering solutions with support from mentors and multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Ability to learn from mentors and apply classroom knowledge to real-world challenges.
• Strong written and verbal communication in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist mechanical engineers with the development, review and delivery of solutions.
• Learn about mechanical systems and components used in major infrastructure projects.
• Review technical information, drawings, calculations and specifications.
