Job summary

RWE Generation UK offers an engineering placement within the HRSG and BoP team, focused on Didcot B CCGT power station in Oxfordshire. You will gain on-site engineering experience, data analysis skills, and hands-on training to support safe, efficient operation and commercial flexibility.

The role requires an undergraduate Mechanical Engineering degree with industrial placement; exposure to central engineering in Swindon and other UK sites is possible.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BEng or MEng Mechanical Engineering or Science degree with industrial placement year.
• Interest in project coordination and engineering support.

Responsibilities

• Undertake data analysis to diagnose problems for long and short-term projects.
• Gain on-site experience and practical skills through hands-on training.
• Support development of pressure system asset integrity processes.
• Deliver plant improvement projects and plant investigations.
• Assist in delivering a significant HRSG outage (outage schedule permitting).
