Job summary

RWE Generation UK is offering an industrial placement with the Rotating Equipment Team to support gas and steam turbines across the portfolio. The role can be based at RWE’s UK head office in Swindon or at one of the UK power station sites, with opportunities to support the fleet remotely.

As a student, you will work alongside Mechanical Engineers, undertake data analysis, gain hands-on experience, and attend courses to develop problem-solving and teamwork skills while contributing to

Qualifications

• Currently studying a BEng or MEng Mechanical Engineering at undergraduate level.
• Valid driving licence is preferred, as the placement may involve travel to different RWE sites.

Responsibilities

• Work with Mechanical Engineers to solve engineering problems affecting the portfolio.
• Undertake data analysis to diagnose issues for long and short-term projects.
• Gain hands-on on-site experience and practical skills.
• Collaborate with team to deliver responsibilities.
• Attend courses and on-the-job training for personal development.
