Job summary

RWE Generation UK invites applications for an industrial placement with the Rotating Equipment team. You will support mechanical engineers, analyse data, and gain hands-on experience at UK sites, with potential travel to different sites.

Qualifications

• Ideally, you should be studying a BEng or MEng Mechanical Engineering degree at undergraduate level.
• A valid driving licence is preferred as travel to different RWE sites may be required.
• If your degree is in a similar Engineering, Maths or Science discipline and you have an interest in energy, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Work alongside Mechanical Engineers to resolve real engineering problems that affect the portfolio.
• Undertake data analysis to diagnose problems for long and short term projects.
• Gain on-site experience and hands-on practical skills.
• Apply problem solving and teamwork to deliver responsibilities.
• Attend courses, workshops and on-the-job training for personal development.
