Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Industry experience within a mechanical engineering environment.
• A passion for teaching and developing learners.
• A recognised teaching qualification.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering high-quality teaching across mechanical engineering programmes.
• Facilitating both hands‑on workshop sessions and classroom‑based theoretical learning.
• Supporting, assessing and monitoring learner progress to ensure successful outcomes.
• Contributing to curriculum development and continuous improvement.
• Creating an inclusive and motivating learning environment.
• Maintaining safe working practices within engineering workshops and learning environments.
