Job summary

Bolton College is seeking a Temporary Mechanical Engineering Lecturer to deliver Mechanical Engineering lessons across BTEC Levels 1-3 for learners aged 16-18. The role is a 24-hour-per-week position working on-site with an immediate impact on learner success.

Experience in teaching or training within Engineering is required, along with a relevant Mechanical Engineering qualification and strong communication skills to deliver engaging sessions and assess progress accurately.

Bolton Talent Solutions are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineering Lecturer on behalf of Bolton College.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineering professional or lecturer to join a well-established Further Education provider, delivering high-quality teaching to learners aged 16-18.

• Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Lecturer
• Contract Type: Temporary
• Hours: 24 hours per week
• Working Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
• Pay Rate: £28.00 - £30.00 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective learning across BTEC Engineering programmes Levels 1-3. You will support learners aged 16-18 in developing their technical knowledge, practical skills, and industry understanding, helping them achieve their qualifications and progress into employment or higher-level study.
