Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to contribute across the lifecycle of water and wastewater projects in the UK. You will develop mechanical design from concept through commissioning and handover, ensuring safe, practical solutions in collaboration with electrical, civil, geotech and process teams.

You will work with designers and project teams to meet programme, budget, and quality expectations, while supporting travel to sites and engaging with clients and stakeholders as

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team and stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel to sites across your operational region.

Responsibilities

• Develop the mechanical design of water and wastewater infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects through outline and detailed design, construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Coordinate with Electrical, Civil, Geotech and Process designers to ensure on-programme, within-budget, quality designs.
• Collaborate with commercial, operational and construction teams to develop practical and safe solutions through design, construction and beyond.
