Job summary

Hunter Selection is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a well-established manufacturing site in Peterborough. You will be responsible for all plant and machinery on site, carrying out planned maintenance and addressing mechanical faults on site.

The role requires strong engineering experience, preferably with a manufacturing, industrial, or field service background, and a 4on 4off days pattern. Salary is around £55,000 with a pension of up to 10% and is based at a leading UK production facility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years engineering experience.
• Open on background - ideally manufacturing, industrial, or field service background.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all plant and machinery on site.
• Carrying out planned maintenance.
• Focusing on mechanical faults onsite.
• Working in a team with other engineers.
• Ensuring compliance of quality standards on site.
