Job summary

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new company, Axiom, with operations across the UK and Europe. We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer based at our Hemel Hempstead Service Centre to manage maintenance and installation of LV switchgear and oversee on-site teams.

The role reports to the Service Centre Operations Manager EMEA and requires an electrician with LV switchgear experience, valid UK driving licence, and related safety certifications.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification required and practical experience in LV switchgear.
• SSSTS certification is preferred and ensures safe site management.
• UK driving licence and right to work in the UK are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and install electrical equipment across sites.
• Oversee equipment dispatched to site and manage/guide contractors.
• Complete required documentation and certificates for handover.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Report progress to the Site Service Manager and manage project risk.
