Job summary

ComXps is recruiting for an engineering professional to support UK defence programmes. The role is hybrid with on-site days in Merthyr Tydfil and Bristol, plus remote work one day per week and occasional trials at other locations.

Essential criteria include an engineering qualification at level 4+ and professional EngTech registration, with experience delivering technical advice and engineering outputs on large programmes.

Job description

This role is Inside IR35.

Location: 1 days a week on site in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales. 3 day a week on site at MOD Abbey Wood, Bristol. 1 day a week WFH. Plus, the ability to support Trials activity at other locations.

Contract Length:ASAP – 31/03/2027

Clearance: SC

Essential Experience/Skills Requirement

• Hold a suitable Engineering qualification and level of training (at level 4 or greater).
• As a minimum be Professional Registered as an Engineering Technician (EngTech) or equivalent.
• Have experience of providing technical advice and delivery of successful engineering outputs.

Desired Experience/Skills Requirement

• Have experience of asset management and In-service military equipment.
• Experience of working on large complex engineering programmes.
• Experience of major large and diverse stakeholder groups.
