Job summary

ComXps is seeking an experienced engineer to lead technical advisory and the delivery of complex engineering outcomes. The role requires IEng registration or equivalent and demonstrates the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams across projects.

The candidate will work in a Defence-aligned environment with clearances and a contract structure, including on-site days in multiple locations and some remote work. The role is inside IR35 with a defined contract length.

Qualifications

• Experience providing technical advice and leading delivery of engineering outcomes.
• Must be professionally registered as an Incorporated Engineer (IEng) or equivalent.
• Strong track record in delivering complex engineering projects within Defence or similar environments.

Contract Length:ASAP – 31/03/2027

Location:2 days a week on site in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales. 2 day a week on site in Bristol. 1 day a week WFH

Essential Experience/Skills Requirement

• Have wide ranging depth and breadth experience of providing technical advice and delivery of successful engineering outcomes.
• Demonstrate experience of providing technical advice and leading the delivery of successful engineering
• As a minimum be professionally registered as an Incorporated Engineer (IEng) or equivalent.

Desired Experience/Skills Requirement

• Experience managing engineering change and configuration (Asset management experience) is desirable.
• Experience within an Engineering Production Environment is desirable, but not essential.
• Experience managing engineering activity within a Defence Major Program (GMPP/CAT A) is desirable.
