Job summary

Hydro International, a CRH Company, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the UK Wastewater Services team based in Manningtree. The role involves installing, testing and commissioning water filtration systems on sewage sites, inspecting sites, and producing survey reports.

You will need a City & Guilds qualification, a recognised mechanical apprenticeship, and a current driving license. This onsite role offers a competitive salary up to around £50,000 with discretionary bonuses and benefits,

Qualifications

• Current valid driving license is required.
• City & Guilds qualification is essential.
• Served a recognised mechanical apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, set up and test water filtration systems on sewage sites.
• Carry out site inspections and fault finding and compile survey reports for quotation purposes.
• Access and interpret technical instructions using mobile electronic equipment.
• Work at heights, in confined spaces and outside on sites connected with Wastewater.
• Work away from home on a regular basis, requiring overnight stays.
• Work in some of our workshops across the country on occasion.
• Work as a team with other staff and trades within the business.

The Mechanical Engineer will ne working within Hydro International's UK Wastewater Services (UKWWS) team. We support water utility companies by improving sewage sites across the United Kingdom.

We are looking for an experienced/qualified Mechanical Engineer to join us at our Manningtree branch.

In this job you will...

• Install, commission, set up and test water filtration systems on sewage sites.
