Job summary

Hydro International, a CRH Company, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the UK Wastewater Services (UKWWS) team in Manningtree. You will install, commission and test filtration systems on sewage sites, and perform site inspections with fault finding for quotations.

The ideal candidate holds City & Guilds, has a recognised mechanical apprenticeship, and a valid driving license; travel across the UK is involved with occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Current valid driving license is required.
• City & Guilds qualification is required.
• Recognised mechanical apprenticeship is required.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, set up and test water filtration systems on sewage sites.
• Carry out site inspections and fault finding and compile survey reports for quotation purposes.
• Access and interpret technical instructions using mobile electronic equipment.
• Work at heights, in confined spaces and outside on sites connected with Wastewater (sewage).
• Work away from home on a regular basis, requiring overnight stays.
• Work in some of our workshops across the country on occasion.

The Mechanical Engineer will ne working within Hydro International's UK Wastewater Services (UKWWS) team. We support water utility companies by improving sewage sites across the United Kingdom.

We are looking for an experienced/qualified Mechanical Engineer to join us at our Manningtree branch.
