Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Doncaster is seeking a Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical to join a well-established heavy manufacturing site. You will be the mechanical backbone of the maintenance team, working across hydraulically-driven presses and heavy production machinery to keep the site running. The role offers £45,000 with a Monday–Friday shift pattern and weekends off, with rare night shifts in a 3-shift cycle.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical maintenance background in heavy process manufacturing.
• Basic to good working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Comfortable with light electrical tasks such as sensor replacement and basic fault-finding.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical maintenance on hydraulically-driven presses and heavy production equipment; keep the site running smoothly.
• Support the maintenance team to minimise downtime and improve reliability.

Job DescriptionMaintenance Engineer - Mechanical - Doncaster £45,000 - 3 Shift Pattern (Very rare night shifts) - Weekends Off

This is a well-established heavy manufacturing site running large-scale industrial process equipment, the kind of environment where the work is genuinely varied so no two days look the same. You'll be the mechanical backbone of the maintenance team, working across hydraulically-driven presses and heavy production machinery with real input into keeping the site running rather than just reacting when something breaks.

• Strong mechanical maintenance background, ideally within heavy process manufacturing - extrusion, foundry, metals or heavy fabrication.
• Basic to good working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
• Comfortable with light electrical tasks - sensor replacement, basic fault-finding
• Shift-based experience, Monday to Friday

On top of the salary, this is a genuinely Monday - Friday shift pattern with barely any night work, it's just there is a needs sometime so you're put on a 3 shift pattern. You also have every weekend off so you're not missing out on those sociable hours with friends and family.
