Job summary

CV Technical in Widnes is seeking a Mechanical Engineer/Fitter to join a market-leading maintenance team. You will perform reactive and planned maintenance on a range of production machinery to keep the facility running smoothly.

Reporting to the maintenance manager, you'll work on hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and mechanical faults, and contribute to facilities work in a busy manufacturing environment while developing your skills through progressive training.

Qualifications

• Time served in mechanical engineering.
• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Relevant engineering qualifications.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.

Reporting directly to the maintenance manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation.
