Job summary

Probe UK is seeking an Experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our day shift team. You will work within an established maintenance engineering group, performing both planned and reactive maintenance across our plant facilities.

The ideal candidate will hold formal mechanical qualifications, ideally apprentice trained, with proven experience in heavy hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and welding ability.

Qualifications

• Formal mechanical qualifications and apprentice training preferred.
• Proven experience in supporting plant and equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with heavy hydraulic and pneumatic systems; welding ability preferred.

Duties of a Maintenance Fitter

As a maintenance fitter, you ll be working within an experienced and established team of maintenance engineers undertaking both planned and reactive maintenance across our plant.

Requirements of a Maintenance Fitter

As a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter, you must hold formal mechanical qualifications (and ideally be apprentice trained) with proven experience of supporting plant and equipment within a robust manufacturing environment that has seen you support heavy hydraulic and pneumatic applications and ideally also have some form of welding ability.
