Job summary

CMbE (CarnaudMetalbox Engineering) seeks a Mechanical Engineer - Decorator to join the Wortley, Leeds site. You will design machines to customer specs, develop 3D models and 2D drawings, and generate BOMs for on-time manufacture using MRP II.

The ideal candidate will have an HNC in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering (degree advantageous) and at least 2 years in mechanical engineering, with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Experience creating 3D CAD models and assemblies using Siemens NX.
• Experience producing 2D technical drawings for manufacture and assembly.
• Experience creating BOMs using an MRP II system.

Responsibilities

• Interpret customer specifications and design machines to meet requirements.
• Produce 3D CAD models and assemblies using Siemens NX.
• Create 2D manufacturing drawings and BOMs for fabrication and assembly.
• Provide technical support across the business and global customer base.
