Job summary

Sentior, Ltd. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer for a client in Europe, based in Stevenage. You will develop mechanical designs from concept through to manufacture, producing detailed Creo models and documentation.

The role is initially 6 months with hybrid working (typically 3 days onsite per week), starting ASAP. You will collaborate with manufacturing, systems and project engineering teams to ensure designs meet performance, quality and manufacturing requirements.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Design Engineering background.
• Strong experience using Creo / PTC Creo.
• Experience producing 3D models, assemblies and detailed engineering drawings.
• Understanding of mechanical design principles and product development processes.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed 3D CAD models and engineering drawings using Creo.
• Support the design and development of mechanical systems and components.
• Work closely with manufacturing, systems and project engineering teams.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical input throughout the design lifecycle.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation and technical data packages.
• Ensure designs meet performance, quality and manufacturing requirements.
