Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design mechanical systems within buildings for our Places Design Practice. You will deliver elegant and efficient solutions for projects across Industrial Manufacturing, Defence and Education sectors.

You will work with a multidisciplinary Arcadian team to ensure integrated design, produce drawings, specs, and reports, and meet budget and schedule targets while upholding quality standards.

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Evidence of working towards Chartered Engineer (CEng).
• Experience designing mechanical systems within buildings.
• Understanding of budgetary requirements and client interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drawings, specifications, reports and other project documentation.
• Ensure activities meet budget, timeframe and quality objectives.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to integrate the overall design or solution.
• Resolve technical issues on projects under supervision of a Senior Engineer.
