Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Places Design Practice, delivering mechanical design solutions for buildings across sectors such as Industrial Manufacturing, Defence and Education.

You will work with a multi-disciplinary team to integrate the overall design, prepare drawings and reports, and ensure budgets and timelines are met. A degree in Mechanical Engineering and progress toward CEng are expected.

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Working towards Chartered Engineer (CEng).
• Experience designing mechanical systems within buildings.
• Understanding budgetary requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate drawings, specifications, reports and other project documentation.
• Ensure budget, timeframe and quality objectives are met.
• Collaborate with a multi-discipline team to integrate the overall design or solution.
• Contribute to resolving technical issues under supervision of a Senior Engineer.
