Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Places Design Practice. You will design mechanical systems within buildings for diverse projects across industries, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver efficient solutions.

You will contribute to technical drawings, reports and specifications, while developing toward Chartered Engineer status and ensuring client satisfaction by meeting budget and timelines.

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Evidence that you’re working towards becoming a Chartered Engineer (CEng).
• Previous relevant experience designing mechanical systems within buildings.
• Understanding of budgetary requirements and client interfaces.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Work on technical aspects of small projects or components of larger projects, meeting budget, timeframe and quality objectives.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, reports and other project documentation.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of Arcadians to integrate the overall design.
• Contribute to the resolution of technical issues under the supervision of a Senior Engineer.
