Job summary

Arcadis in Leeds is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with experience designing mechanical systems within buildings to join our Places Design Practice. You will deliver elegant and efficient mechanical design solutions for projects across sectors.

You will work with a multidisciplinary Arcadians to integrate the overall design, prepare drawings, specifications and reports, and support budget and schedule objectives under guidance.

Qualifications

• A BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng in Mechanical Engineering.
• Evidence of working towards Chartered Engineer (CEng).
• Experience designing mechanical systems within buildings.
• Understanding of interfaces with client and budget considerations.

Responsibilities

• Work on technical aspects of small projects or components of larger projects, meeting budgets and schedules.
• Collaborate with a multi-discipline team to integrate overall design.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, reports, and other project documentation.
• Contribute to resolving technical issues under supervision of Senior Engineer.
