Job summary

Skilled Careers is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for our Hampshire client to work across a portfolio carrying out PPM schedules on a rolling contract.

You will complete maintenance documentation, ensure health, safety and environmental procedures are followed, and support installation, modification and commissioning of electrical equipment. A recognised Mechanical Apprenticeship or Level 3 Mechanical qualification is required; HVAC experience and maintenance system knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with preventative maintenance systems.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance documentation and record work accurately.
• Ensure all activities comply with health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects across the site.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on plant and equipment.
• Support installation, modification and commissioning of new electrical equipment.
• Build inspections and emergency lighting tasks.

The Role

Mechanical Engineer -

• Completing maintenance documentation and ensuring work is accurately recorded.
• Ensuring all engineering activities comply with health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Contributing to continuous improvement projects across the site.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across a range of plant and equipment.
• Supporting installation, modification and commissioning of new electrical equipment
• Building Inspections & Emergency lighting

About You

A recognised Mechanical Apprenticeship or Level 3 Mechanical qualification.

• HVAC Experience
• Experience working with preventative maintenance systems.
