Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc in Newport is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to perform mechanical repairs, assembly and servicing on our range of industrial products including power tools and lifting equipment. The role is based at the Newport depot with Monday to Friday, 42 hours per week.

You will need previous mechanical engineering experience, good computer skills (Microsoft Office) and strong communication abilities. The company promotes training, development and progressive career opportunities.

• Ensure repairs and maintenance of equipment are prioritised effectively.
• Based in the Newport depot and support your business unit to deliver ESG strategy.

Based in the depot inNewport,the Mechanical Engineer plays a key role in our operations, performing mechanical repairs, assembly and servicing on our range of industrial products such as power tools and lifting equipment, ensuring that all repairs and maintenance of equipment is prioritised effectively.
