Job summary

Pioneer Selection is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a fast-paced manufacturing site in Paisley/Glasgow. The role covers mechanical maintenance, fault finding, fault response and proactive maintenance to maximise uptime.

You will support continuous improvement projects and machinery upgrades, working closely with production to enhance safety and performance, with a strong focus on reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience within a manufacturing background.
• Hands-on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced factory environment.
• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
• Mechanical fault-finding experience.
• Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical maintenance, fault finding and breakdown response to maximise uptime.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Support continuous improvement projects and machinery upgrades.
• Collaborate with production to drive safety and performance.

Job Role of the Maintenance Engineer
