Job summary

Pioneer Selection is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a fast-paced manufacturing site near Paisley/Glasgow. You will handle mechanical fault-finding, breakdown response, planned preventive maintenance and support machinery upgrades to maximise uptime.

The role offers ongoing training, progression opportunities and a supportive team; shift patterns include days and nights (Mon-Fri). You’ll work with modern equipment in a well-invested facility where your hands-on engineering skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Non-Negotiable requirements: Maintenance experience within a manufacturing background.
• Hands on maintenance with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in fast-paced factory.
• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).

Responsibilities

• Mechanical maintenance, fault finding, breakdown response and planned preventative maintenance to maximise uptime.
• Support continuous improvement projects and machinery upgrades with production teams to drive safety and performance.
