Job summary

Pioneer Selection is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer in Tayport, Fife. The role offers a £45,000 annual salary with rotating 12-hour days and nights, and a chance to work with a proactive engineering team in a well-established manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate has experience with mechanical and electrical maintenance, PPM, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement and health & safety.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Salary: £45,000 per annum

Job Role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

An excellent opportunity has become available for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business in Tayport, Fife. This is an exciting role for a proactive engineer looking to work in a fast-paced production environment where reliability, continuous improvement, and teamwork are at the heart of the operation. Working a rotating 12-hour days and nights shift pattern, you will be responsible for maintaining production equipment, reducing downtime, and ensuring machinery operates safely and efficiently.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

• Previous maintenance experience within an manufacturing environment.
• Experience carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and breakdown repairs.
• Multi-skilled engineering experience with both mechanical and electrical maintenance.

Essential Requirements

• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across mechanical and electrical systems.

• Experience with conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
