Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join a Basildon based commercial building maintenance team. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance on HVAC systems and building services, with an immediate start on an on-going contract.

You will carry out electrical and mechanical tasks, monitor BMS, perform emergency lighting tests, maintain log books, and work closely with the maintenance team to ensure reliable operation for the site.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 2 mechanical qualification.
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
• Multi-skilled with good communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to carry out planned and reactive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Emergency lighting tests.
• Maintenance of control panels and ballast changes.
• Monitor BMS system (hot & cold) and maintain log books.
• Plumbing - unblocking toilets; Pumps and motors.

Mechanical Engineer - Commercial Building - Basildon - Immediate start - On-going - £27 Per Hour

An exciting immediate opportunity to join an established building services company based in Basildon.CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting a Mechanical Engineer to cover a commercial site.He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team.

Hours of work

• Monday to Friday
• 08:00am to 16:00pm
• £27 per hour via Umbrella
• Contract type: On-going

Requirements
