80787 - Mechanical & Electrical Design Engineer
This Mechanical & Electrical Design Engineer will report to the Design Lead and will work within the Capital Programme based in our London (West Ham - Bidder St) office. You will be a permanent employee.
You will attract a salary of £65,241 plus car and a bonus of 3%. This role can also offer blended working after a 6-month probationary period - 3 days in the office and 2 remote.
Additional benefits include:
Produce Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) designs from a scope provided by Project Managers, Customers, or the Design Lead, including project costings to meet customer requirements for time, quality, and budget. These schemes could be for APP and Connections (non-contestable and contestable) work, following UK Power Networks design standards. Collaborate with Project Managers, other Design Engineers, and the Principal Designer (CDM) to ensure compliance with design, CDM, and standards for regulated network solutions.
Requirements include:
Site visits, including operational substations, with safety compliance.
