Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL in Blackburn is seeking a Production & Assembly Operative to join a busy production team on a temporary basis, with potential for permanent position for the right person.

The ideal candidate will have a mechanical and/or electrical background and be adept with hand tools, following drawings and processes to assemble products and perform basic testing. You will work Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00, in a clean and safe environment as part of a larger production team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a production, assembly, manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Good mechanical aptitude and practical hands-on skills.
• Basic electrical/electronic knowledge would be advantageous.
• Comfortable using hand tools and equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work accurately.
• Good attention to detail and a positive approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical and electrical assembly of products/components.
• Use a range of hand and basic power tools.
• Follow assembly instructions, drawings and processes.
• Carry out basic testing and quality checks.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Work as part of a wider production team to meet deadlines.
