Job summary

Proactive Personnel Ltd is seeking a Production & Assembly Operative to join a busy production team on a temporary basis, with potential for permanent positions for the right person. The role involves mechanical and/or electrical assembly, using hand and basic power tools, and following drawings and processes.

• Carry out mechanical and electrical assembly of products/components.
• Use a range of hand and basic power tools.
• Follow assembly instructions, drawings and processes.
• Carry out basic testing and quality checks.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Work as part of a wider production team to meet deadlines.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a production, assembly, manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Good mechanical aptitude and practical hands-on skills.
• Basic electrical/electronic knowledge would be advantageous.
• Comfortable using hand tools and equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work accurately.
• Good attention to detail and a positive approach to work.

Hours of work are: Monday to Friday 08:30am-17:00pm.
