RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Department Head, this position offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to the mechanical design aspects of electrical switchgear and contribute to product improvements. The main responsibilities include working with senior design engineers and the Switchgear Product Manager to prepare detailed mechanical drawings and documentation for LV Switchgear products.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A good grounding in Mechanical Engineering Design Principles, including the ability to read and interpret specifications and IEC standards and apply them to the role.
• Good working knowledge and experience with SolidWorks.
• Experience with MS Office packages: Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role and/or demonstrated abilities using SolidWorks to an acceptable standard.
• AutoCAD experience is desirable but not essential.
