Job summary

Nicholas Associates is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design TIG welding fixtures for sheet metal formed parts. The role is based near Redditch within our UK manufacturing network.

The role offers a 39-hour week (Mon-Thu 7.30am-4.30pm, Fri 7.30am-12.30pm) and benefits including a bonus scheme, salary sacrifice pension, life assurance and sick pay. We welcome diverse applicants and can discuss flexible working options.

Overview

With manufacturing facilities located across the UK, we now require a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the Manufacturing and Engineering team. You will be tasked to focus on the design of TIG Welding fixtures for sheet metal formed parts.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing within a sheet metal, welding and fabrication environment.
• Commutable from: Redditch, Alcester, Solihull, Bromsgrove, Coventry, Worcester, Birmingham and surrounding areas.
