Job summary

A specialized recruitment agency is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a special-purpose material handling systems manufacturer in Mansfield. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Mechanical or Product Design, experience with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD, and a proactive approach to problem solving. Responsibilities include creating detailed design specifications, assisting the sales team, and ensuring client adherence to specifications. Qualifications

• Demonstrable design experience with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
• Experience designing bespoke material handling systems such as conveyors and palletisers.
• Full, clean UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Produce general arrangement and final draft drawings using Autodesk Inventor/AutoCAD.
• Create designs for conveyor systems and bespoke material handling systems.
• Assist technical sales team with development of quotation drawings.
