Trant Engineering Ltd. is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Southampton team. The role focuses on applying advanced engineering principles to design, manage, and deliver projects of moderate complexity, while mentoring junior staff and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

The position requires leadership, independent judgment, and a commitment to sustainability and professional standards. It offers hybrid working and a strong benefits package within a growing EPC contractor

Formación

• 3–5 years of relevant engineering experience, including design and coordination.
• Proven ability to mentor junior staff and manage multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with design and project delivery in EPC context is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Designs complete projects, systems, components, or processes.
• Prepares specifications, drawings, and project documentation.
• Mentors junior staff and coordinates multidisciplinary teams.
• Manages scopes, schedules and budgets with leadership.

Educación

Higher Education (NVQ+)

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline (Master’s preferred)

Membership of a Professional Engineering Institution
