Job summary

Mane Energy in the United Kingdom is seeking a capable Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing engineering team, taking ownership of the design and development of complex mechanical products and systems across the full lifecycle.

You will produce detailed CAD models and drawings, perform design calculations and support prototype builds, testing and manufacture, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven mechanical design and product development experience.
• Strong 3D CAD and 2D drawing capability.
• Solid GD&T, tolerancing and manufacturing awareness.
• Experience taking concepts through to manufacture.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies and systems from concept to manufacture.
• Produce detailed 3D CAD models, drawings and documentation.
• Perform design calculations, tolerance analyses and assessments.
• Support prototypes, testing and design verification.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and suppliers to ensure manufacturability.
• Maintain engineering documentation and participate in design reviews.
