Job summary

ReeVR Talent is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join an established engineering business, supporting full product development lifecycle from concept to production. The role is hands-on across mechanical and electro-mechanical products, including prototyping, testing and project management.

You will design with 3D CAD, run FEA, prepare BOMs and technical documentation, manage ECRs, and collaborate with production, QA and suppliers to drive robust, manufacturable designs in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong background in mechanical product design and development.
• Experience with 3D CAD and DFx principles.
• Experience managing ECRs and engineering change processes.
• Experience producing technical drawings, BOMs and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing mechanical and electro-mechanical products from concept through production.
• Using 3D CAD tools to develop and manage designs.
• Performing engineering calculations, tolerance analysis and FEA.
• Creating and maintaining BOMs, specifications and technical documentation.
• Leading concept reviews, design verification and prototype testing.
• Managing multiple projects with plans, schedules and risks.
• Collaborating with production, QA, sales, suppliers and customers.
