Job summary

Mane Energy seeks a Project Engineer in the United Kingdom to own complex engineering projects from concept through to delivery. You will act as the main interface between Engineering, Project Management, customers and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time, within-budget, high-quality outcomes.

The role requires a degree in Engineering, IEng status, strong 3D CAD (SolidWorks), knowledge of BS 8888 and GD&T, and proficiency with MS Office and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status with a professional institution.
• Strong 3D CAD experience, ideally SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of engineering drawing standards, including BS 8888 and GD&T.
• Experience using MS Office and MS Project.
• Strong communication skills with customers and stakeholders.
• Excellent report writing and project documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into clear engineering deliverables.
• Define and manage engineering outputs throughout the lifecycle.
• Lead overall system design activities.
• Manage design data and engineering resources.
• Organise and document formal design reviews (PDRs/CDRs).
• Monitor engineering hours, budgets and project schedules.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and cross-functional teams.
• Produce and review concept designs and manufacturing drawings.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and systems.
• Support testing and validation activities, including data logging.
