Mechanical Design Engineer

Salary: £46,000 - £52,000 + Hybrid working + Progression + Training + Benefits

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:45

Location: Saffron Walden, Essex

About the Role

Are you experienced in mechanical design within an engineering or manufacturing environment? Are you seeking a new opportunity within a leading manufacturing company that offers hybrid working, comprehensive training, and career development in a project-based role?

Due to ongoing growth, our client is looking for a Design Engineer to join their team and develop project management skills. The role is based at their office near Saffron Walden. The successful candidate will manage projects for customers across the UK, liaising with clients as well as design, projects, and manufacturing teams. You will design bespoke, special-purpose equipment and products for various industries such as defense, construction, medical, and manufacturing. Experience with AutoCAD and Inventor is preferred, but full training can be provided if necessary.
