Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Robotic Mechatronics

Are you a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with a passion for robotics and mechatronics?

We are working with one of the UK’s most exciting robotics companies who are pushing the boundaries of advanced robotics, right in the heart of Cambridge.

This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative engineering environment where your work will directly contribute to the evolution of cutting-edge robotic systems used across the globe.

You’ll play a key role in a crucial redesign programme aimed at expanding the product’s capabilities and functionality. Working in a hybrid model with three days a week on site, you’ll collaborate closely with engineers through concept, design, and prototyping stages.

What you’ll need for the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer:

• Proven experience using Solidworks and Solidworks PDM
• An understanding of design for manufacture (DfM)
• Experience in robotics or mechanical systems with moving parts and mechatronics
• A detail-oriented approach and a critical eye for solving engineering challenges
