What You Will Do:

- Develop 3D models and 2D drawings using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD to meet project demands.

- Produce designs that comply with product assurance limitations and consider all stages of the product lifecycle, from manufacturability to operability.

- Create Designer's Risk Assessments and eliminate health and safety risks from designs in accordance with CDM regulations.

- Collaborate with analysis engineers to ensure theoretical analysis aligns with design output.

- Attend design and manufacturability reviews, driving the 3D model and communicating design intent to project teams.

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and research and development activities, driving innovation and efficiency.

What You Will Bring:

- A minimum HND in Engineering with 5 years of experience in industrial sheet/steel fabrications, or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 3 years of relevant experience.

- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Vault, with a strong understanding of steel manufacturing techniques and limitations.

- Knowledge of BS 8888 standards for engineering drawings and the ability to compile coherent Designer's Risk Assessments.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

- A focus on quality, attention to detail, and the flexibility to meet project deadlines.
