About the Role

Join one of the UK’s largest Garage Equipment Providers as a home-based Field Engineer. You’ll be working on a variety of garage equipment and be equipped with a fully racked van to provide a seamless service.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Calibrate brake testers to ensure accurate readings
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure long-term performance
• Respond to customer callouts for equipment faults or failures
• Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, or mechanical issues and perform on-site repairs
• Ensure all brake testing equipment complies with DVSA requirements for MOT use

Skills & Qualifications:

• Mechanical or electromechanical engineering background
• Experience with vehicle test lane equipment, especially brake testers
• Knowledge of DVSA regulations and MOT testing standards
• Diagnostic skills in mechanical, electrical, or software faults
• Clean UK driving license (for travel to customer sites)
