Job summary

Hunter Selection Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for a global engineering business based in Milton Keynes, responsible for electro-mechanical product development from concept through to production.

The role offers a salary up to £47,000–£48,000, Monday–Friday days, 25 days of holiday, private medical insurance and excellent career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience using SolidWorks for mechanical design.
• Background designing automation equipment, machinery, motion systems or electro-mechanical products.
• Comfortable building and testing prototypes.

Responsibilities

• Designing mechanical assemblies and automation products using SolidWorks
• Creating 3D models, drawings and engineering documentation
• Developing prototypes and carrying out product testing
• Investigating failures and implementing design improvements
• Working with manufacturing teams to bring products into production
• Supporting customers and colleagues with technical queries
• Producing technical reports, specifications and training materials
• Collaborating with international engineering teams on new product development projects

What You'll Be Doing
