Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for a Fareham-based role within an international manufacturer of specialist cooling and heat transfer equipment. You will design bespoke mechanical equipment, create 3D CAD models and drawings, and perform engineering calculations in collaboration with the engineering and manufacturing teams.

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer looking to join an established international manufacturer offering specialist training and a clear route into Senior Engineer and Project Lead positions?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing manufacturer of specialist industrial cooling and heat transfer equipment, where you will receive ongoing technical development whilst working on varied, bespoke engineering projects.

The company have over 50 years of industry experience and manufacture specialist engineered products for customers across a range of industrial sectors. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to add a Mechanical Design Engineer to their close-knit technical team.

In this Monday-Friday, office-based role, you will be responsible for the design and development of bespoke mechanical equipment, producing 3D CAD models, manufacturing drawings and engineering calculations. You will work closely with the wider engineering and manufacturing teams throughout the design process.

This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer with Autodesk Inventor experience looking to develop technically within a stable and expanding engineering business.

The Role:

• Monday-Friday, office-based position.
• Design and development of bespoke industrial equipment.
• Produce 3D CAD models, manufacturing drawings and calculations.

The Person:

• Mechanical Design / Product Design experience.
• Autodesk Inventor experience.
• Experience with sheet metal or fabricated products advantageous.
• Commutable to Fareham.

The salary advertised is the bracket available for this position. The actual salary paid will be dependent on your level of experience, qualifications and skill set and will be decided by our client, the employer.
