A global manufacturer producing products and services that make a real difference in the world is currently looking to recruit a Mechanical Design R&D Engineer. You will be responsible for developing new systems and components, as well as supporting existing products.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Analyze research data and proposed product specifications to determine feasibility.
• Perform experiments to determine necessary engineering parameters. Use test data and reports to ensure designs meet specifications.
• Prepare or oversee the preparation of product or system layouts, detailed drawings, and 3D models.
• Utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software for engineering and design tasks.
• Recommend improvements to current production processes to increase efficiency.
• Coordinate the completion of all documentation required for new products, including drawings and bills of materials.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Experience with CAD packages and SolidWorks.
• Experience in 3D modeling and 3D printing.
• Five years of experience in commercial and industrial product design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
