Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering degree or minimum 3 years CAD experience.
• Proficient in Autodesk Inventor and other design software.
• Self-starter, with ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer responsible for the design and development of new and existing components and products. You will be involved in conceptual design, automation solutions. The role includes project management and ownership of customer projects from conception to delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new and existing components/products
• Conceptualize new automation solutions and detail existing designs
• Design site layouts and produce BoMs for all designs
• Manage projects and ensure timely delivery to high standards
• Maintain ownership of certain customer projects from conception to completion

Required Experience:

• Special purpose machinery design.
• Manufacturing industries/processes.
• Customer and supplier liaison.
• Working in 3D, primarily using Autodesk Inventor.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Mechanical engineering degree or minimum 3 years CAD Draughtsman experience
• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and other Autodesk programs
• Self-starter with an inquisitive mind
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
• Eligibility to work and live in the UK
